Examine Yourself for Breast Cancer - Finding a lump on the breast can be a traumatic experience, the feeling of fear and not being in control will take over when trying to make an important decision like going to see a doctor, a small proportion of lumps found are cancerous. Examine yourself for breast cancer if you find a lump or even suspect there might be one go to your doctor, do not wait as time is one of the main factors when dealing with any form of cancer. It is impossible to tell if the lump is cancerous by feeling it, tests must be taken and usually an X ray, and biopsy. The lymph gland hat surrounds the breast is situated on the outer sides of the breast and going up under the armpit, this gland is important as it regulates the body's fluid and helps fight infection. Examine your breast regularly for any lumps or defects, as they could be cancerous.
