Ear Pinning (Pinning Back the Ears)

Children can be cruel, by teasing and name calling, which creates problems for a child whose ears are abnormal, therefore the earlier the procedure is performed, the less chance the child will be affected psychologically, When ear pinning surgery is performed on children, a general anaesthetic will be administered, but in adults, depending on the procedure and individual, a local anaesthetic and light sedation, and will be treated as an outpatient and be allowed home. Ear pinning is a cosmetic surgery operation as in known in the medical term as Otoplasty.
