Botox Injections

The muscles surrounding the area where the Botox is injected are temporarily paralysed. Because of this type of treatment, it can be used on the facial area; it helps to reduce lines, and wrinkles, that have developed with ageing, especially around the eyes, forehead, and mouth. The injection of Botox is a controlled procedure that is medically admitted to the area. This type of treatment a non cosmetic surgery procedure, and is treated as an outpatient. The Botox injection only takes a few minutes to perform, and there may be slight swelling and bruising where the skin has been injected, but this will fade within two to three days.
