Eczema and Treatment

A mild form of eczema consists of dry skin that itches, a sever case will itch have an appearance of red inflamed patches, will feel hot and sore. Some Eczema can weep and blister, in older people it can cause ulcers. When eczema starts to take place the skin function can become deteriorated and the skin layers can thicken. The skin can produce scales, these scales are created as the cells turnover increases leaving the skin to crack. Secondary thickening called lichenification can appear from scratching. It is estimated that 20 % of the world population is effected by eczema. Eczema is a condition which describes itself as having dry, red patchy, itchy, some times weeping, blistering, and can cause scales on the skin. Some times after treatment there can be some scarring and patches in the skin, these conditions can be treated by Cosmetic Surgery the CO2 Laser, which will eliminate any scarring and blemishes to the skin.
